Considering Our Ways

#0837 – August 18, 2013

Just as the unbeliever deliberately attempts to deny God, God’s own people can live in a way that denies Him. The Old Testament abounds with records concerning the consequences of forgetting God. And God continually pleads with His people to remember Him and to call upon Him.

As Christians, we are always in God’s presence, and yet our lives can become frustrating and confusing when we forget this simple fact. But when we remember Him and keep our thoughts on heavenly realities, our lives can be the story of the vine and the branches. [Tom Burke]
